Reel to Real Filmmaking, Emily Payne

Hi my name is Emily Payne,

I am a filmmaker/ photographer just starting out in the industry. I have been working in film professionally for a year. I have worked on 3 feature films, and 4 short films. These all being shot in the Norfolk area mainly in and around Great Yarmouth. Working on these films has opened up more doors, so I can further my career especially in the camera department. I got my first job working in the camera department last year as a trainee clapper loader, on a short film called Waving At Trains starring Pete Postlethwaite.

I have previously done film making work shops with Seachange Arts, and was one of ten lucky young people to get picked by filmmaker Jennifer Oey to shoot a short film in Latvia.
