Dead Monkeys – new Great Yarmouth gallery

Beano is calling his gallery `Dead Monkeys’ and plans to be open seven days a week, 10.00 until 19.oo hrs. during the Summer season. The gallery will specialise in contemporary arts and crafts by local artists and Beano and Kerry, who is helping to man the gallery, are looking for artists and craftspeople interested in displaying their work there. There will also be a cooperative workshop space above the gallery.
The Courtyard Crafts Centre

The £400,000 development will be completed by May 2010, transforming the ground floor of what was a derelict Victorian building owned by the developers Joe Larter and Bruce Carter. Studio space will be offered to 12 or 15 artisans at minimum rent, with four apartments also available. For more information go to the Courtyard website by clicking here.
