For help on how to make a post or use the site, please go to the page “Using EastCoastNet” where you can view a video about blogging as well as a step-by-step display taking you through the process of creating your blog.  These instructions can also be downloaded in PDF format.

WordPressTV is a useful site if you have any problems.  If you are new to creating posts on wordpress, click here to go to the  How to write and publish a post video on this site.

To search blogs on a particular subject, please go to the tag cloud on the right-hand side of the screen and click on a tag that matches your search theme.  It is important to remember that this is how viewers will find your blog, so be careful to add tags that will help viewers to find you.  When writing your blog, the tag entry bar is found to the right of the screen below the publish button.

Any questions about difficulties encountered can be posted as a blog if you are already registered, or you can post a comment to the EastCoastNet Training  blog 12th June 2009 (found under the tag ‘training’).   Somebody will provide an answer to the question and this can build up as a help resource.   Alternatively, please email you question here.

For those without access to computers or who are unable to use computers,  ComeUnity in King Street has offered its offices as a drop-off point for material that you would like to have posted on your behalf. 

Training sessions will be offered from time to time, based on demand.  If you would like to attend a training session, please email here, and indicate the days of the week and time of day that would be convenient for you or members of your group.
