(See our current programme of meetings below…)

Founded in 1948, we have around 30 members, meeting every Wednesday evening in Gorleston Library from October to April and outside at photo-friendly venues in the summer.

The majority of members use digital photography in one form or another, though we still have members working in traditional black & white, colour negative and colour slide materials. New members are welcomed what ever their interests or level of expertise. With assistance from a lottery grant in 2005 the club has Photoshop and Paintshop programmes available on a laptop and digital projector. An exhibition of members’ work is held annually and smaller exhibitions are held from time to time as opportunities arise.

The annual subscription for 2010-11  is £20  running from the start of the winter programme in October through to the following summer. Interested new-comers are welcome to attend four meetings before the subscription is due.

We are now coming towards the end of another summer season of outside meetings on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. This year we have extended the “summer” into September to provide the opportunity for some early night-time shots.

Bring a camera.
